FREE 90 DAY/200 HOUR REEFER WARRANTY
For any of our reefer trailers that do not have factory warranty left, we offer a free 90 Day/200 Hour (whichever comes first) warranty on the reefer unit. That’s our promise to you that we’re selling you a rock solid trailer you can count on to stay as cold ice!

- PEDIGREE MUST APPROVE ANY ESTIMATE OR REPAIR BEFORE ANY WORK IS DONE. Claims WILL NOT BE PAID if You Have Not Received Approval from a Pedigree Representative
- You Must Pay a $250 Deductible Per Occurrence or $500 Deductible for Emergency/After Hours Occurrence
- Trailer/Reefer Combination Must Be Purchased Through Pedigree Truck & Trailer Sales
- Claimant Must Be the Original Owner Who Purchased the Unit from Pedigree
- Any Existing Manufacturer’s Warranty (if applicable) Must Be Exhausted First
- Reefer Unit Only
- Parts Only, NO LABOR
- The Following Components ARE Covered:
- Engine, Less Accessories
- Compressor, Less Accessories
- Microprocessor, Less Keypad
- Starter/Alternator, Less Accessories
- Trailer (Box) is NOT Covered
- Normal Scheduled Maintenance Items Including, but Not Limited To:
- Belts, Hoses, Filters, Gaskets, Etc.
- Any Abuse, Neglect, Force Majure
- The Major Terms and Conditions are as Follows;
• The warranty period begins from date of purchase (invoice paid date) or delivery date, whichever comes first.
• Coverage expires at maximum ending days/engine hours of 90days/200hrs, whichever comes first.
• Covered components must be original or as installed by Pedigree
• Unit hours must be verifiable and representative of unit condition
• Unit must be maintained and serviced according to Carrier Transicold’s recommended maintenance schedules (documentation must be verifiable).
• Inspection and all work must be completed by pre-approved dealer
MAJOR COMPONENTS (PARTS ONLY)
The warranty, is extended to the period given for:
ENGINE – All internal diesel engine parts and head gasket.
COMPRESSOR – All internal compressor parts including main compressor shaft seal. Excluded compressor accessories are unloader valves, unloader valve coils, pressure relief valves, safety valves and switches and all fittings.
Main Microprocessor – Module excluding external wiring.
Starter/Alternator – Starter motor and alternator.
This warranty does not apply to any equipment which, in Pedigree’s sole judgment, has been subjected to misuse, negligence in handling or accident, operated contrary to manufacturer’s printed instructions, or has been so repaired or altered as to adversely affect its operational integrity. This warranty extends only to the original owner of the equipment.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE EXPRESSLY GIVEN IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WHICH ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
This Warranty Agreement is between New Prime, Inc. d/b/a Pedigree Truck & Trailer Sales and the customer listed on the purchase invoice. New Prime Inc. and its affiliates SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. THE OWNER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND PEDIGREE’S AND ITS AFFILIATES SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE LIABILITY, WHETHER FOUNDED IN STATUTE, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING STRICT LIABILITY AND NEGLIGENCE) OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF PARTS OR COMPONENTS IDENTIFIED ABOVE, SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATIONS STATED HEREIN.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID UNLESS
A. Purchased unit thru Pedigree and original components at time of
repair must be intact
B. Purchased unit must be started/run a minimum of 3hrs/wk and
verifiable
C. Purchased unit must be operated and maintained as specified in
the applicable Operation and Maintenance Manual. Proof of compliance with above maintenance requirements must be supplied upon request.
D. Trailer/Reefer combination purchase invoice is signed by
Purchaser
