What are lifetime service records and what do they include?
Every unit comes with a complete lifetime service record from the Prime Inc. fleet: every oil change, filter, PM, repair, and DOT inspection, documented and handed to you at the sale. Those records prove scheduled maintenance was done on time or early from day 1. On our food grade tanker trailers we can also pull the last 3 prior loads on request.

Pedigree has four locations around the USA. Our headquarters is in Springfield, Missouri but we also have locations in Pittston Pennsylvania, Minooka Illinois (Chicago) and Salt Lake City Utah. How many miles are on Pedigree's used semi trucks?
Prime Inc. cycles trucks out of its fleet early, so ours run lower mileage than typical used listings of the same model year, and every mile is documented in the lifetime service record. Exact mileage is shown on every truck in our online inventory.

Most of our low mileage used semi trucks from Freightliner, Volvo, Kenworth, International and Peterbilt still have the remainder of their factory warranty still in effect and it transfers to you! Do Pedigree's used reefer trailers come with a warranty?
Pedigree’s used refrigerated railers include a free 90 day parts warranty. Any trailer we fit with a brand new Thermo King unit carries a free 4 year, 8,000 hour reefer warranty.
Does Pedigree offer extended warranties?
Yes. Extended warranty options are available on all of our trucks and trailers beyond the factory balance. A Truck or Trailer Expert can walk you through coverage and pricing for the exact unit you are looking at.
What is the Pedigree Platinum Package offer on Pedigree's used trucks?
The Platinum Package loads select trucks with a Thermo King APU, bunk heater, brand new virgin dual tires, deer guard, power inverter, new dorm style refrigerator, and new mattresses, plus a free factory extended warranty. Does Pedigree really install brand new reefer units on used trailers?
Yes, and Pedigree is the only used trailer dealer in the country that does it. We install a brand new Thermo King unit on a used reefer trailer, so you get new unit reliability and a full factory warranty while saving tens of thousands of dollars versus buying a brand new trailer.
Which new Thermo King units can Pedigree install on a used trailer?
You choose between 2 powerful options, the Thermo King S-600 and the Thermo King S-700. Both come on ultra lightweight 53 foot by 102 inch trailers spec’d for ice cream, with trailer weights starting around 14,500 lbs, disc brakes, new virgin dual tires, and a new 50 gallon fuel tank.

USED REEFER UNIT QUESTIONS
JUST NEED A REEFER UNIT FOR A TRAILER YOU ALREADY OWN? HERE'S THE ANSWERS:
Does Pedigree sell used reefer units by themselves?
Yes. If the box on your trailer is still reliable but you need a different reefer, we sell low hour used reefer units, primarily the Carrier X4 7500, the industry standard in diesel powered reefer units. Ours run low hours between 12,000 and 15,000, never come from wrecked trailers, and include lifetime service records. It is an inexpensive way to breathe new life into your trailer and keep hauling freight that will Make That Money.
Does Pedigree install used reefer units?
For standalone used reefer units, no, we do not install them, but we will connect you with a local Carrier dealer that does same day installs. This is different from our brand new Thermo King units, which we do install on used reefer trailers for you.

What flatbed trailers does Pedigree sell?
We sell all aluminum Reitnouer Maxmiser flatbeds in 48 foot and 53 foot lengths, both 102 inches wide. Every flatbed is 1 owner, fleet maintained by Prime Inc., and comes with its lifetime service record at the sale.
Why is an all aluminum flatbed from Pedigree better than a steel or combo flatbed?
Weight and rust. An all aluminum Reitnouer weighs roughly 1,500 to 2,500 lbs less than a comparable steel or combo flatbed, and that savings goes straight to legal payload so you Make That Money on every load. Aluminum does not rust, and damaged sections bolt off and bolt on instead of needing cut and weld repairs.
Does Pedigree sell stepdeck/dropdeck trailers?
Yes. We sell all aluminum Reitnouer Dropmiser stepdecks, 53 foot and 102 inches wide, with the same 1 owner Prime Inc. fleet history and lifetime service records as our flatbeds.
What equipment comes on Pedigree's Reitnouer flatbeds?
Hendrickson disc brakes, automatic tire inflation, a Right Weigh load scale, sliding winches on full length track, and full LED lighting. Each of these is a costly add on with most new flatbeds. On ours they are already included.

What food grade tanker trailers does Pedigree sell?
We sell used Walker food grade stainless steel tankers from the Prime Inc. fleet: 6,800 gallon, T304 stainless, 43 foot, premium food grade trailers with full length in transit heat, Hendrickson air ride, and full service records. Prime is a top 10 tanker carrier in North America, so these are the highest quality used tankers on the market.
What can I haul with Pedigree's food grade tankers?
A wide range of edible liquids like milk, cream, juices, liquid sweeteners, syrups, edible oils, wine, and more. Our premium food grade tanker trailers carry the broadest haul authority in the food grade liquid space. Call 417-607-6111 to confirm compatibility for a specific load.
Are Pedigree's food grade tanker trailers 3A Sanitary certified?
They are built to 3A Sanitary specifications, including a number 4 polish interior finish, W5 weld finish, and Betts food grade manways with Hypalon gaskets, but they do not carry the official 3A Sanitary designation. The construction meets the standard even though the units are not formally 3A designated.
Do I need a special endorsement to pull a tanker trailer?
Yes. You need a tanker endorsement, the N endorsement, added to your CDL, which requires a written knowledge test at your local DMV with no additional road test. Hazmat classified liquids also require the H endorsement, or the combined X endorsement. The endorsement applies to any liquid load over 119 gallons.
Can I get a Pedigree tanker trailer kosher certified?
Yes. We can coordinate getting a trailer kosher certified for you for a minimal fee. Ask a Trailer Expert and we will set it up.

Can Pedigree deliver a truck or trailer to me?

Can I inspect a Pedigree truck or trailer before I buy it?
Absolutely. Walk arounds, climb ups, and full inspections are welcome at any of our locations, and you are welcome to bring your own inspector before purchase. Every unit is DOT inspected before it leaves our lot. We have nothing to hide on these units.
How can I see everything Pedigree has in stock even those not online?
Not all of our inventory is listed online. You can request a full list and we will email or text you every truck and trailer currently in stock, including units that have not hit the website yet.
